Welcome To Our Cabin
We are excited to open our doors to you! Ever since the cabin’s construction in 1984, our home has always been a retreat for friends, family and those in need. The property became our new home when we relocated from Georgia. After purchasing the lot, my parents relocated our entire family from just outside Atlanta to live in a trailer on site while the cabin was being built. My father, uncle and several others worked late nights and early mornings to help with the interior construction of the home and see it through to completion. I was one of five children to grow up in the residence along with my grandmother. The cabin served as my parents’ dwelling place until 2015 at which point my family took over ownership. While the home has undergone extensive renovations over the last few years, the footprint and the charm remain intact.
Over the years we have celebrated numerous holidays, birthdays, rehearsal dinners and shared many memories together in this home. The cabin has always been a place of peace, comfort and community for those who gathered here. The location boasts a tranquil setting situated amongst working Amish Farms and a short walking distance to some of the County’s best ice cream. While offering a quiet retreat, you will be just minutes from all major conveniences and an equally easy commute to all that Lancaster County has to offer. We are excited for the cabin to continue to build lasting memories for everyone, especially those we have not met yet!
Warmest Welcome,
The Garpstas Family
